CONGRESSIONAL WOMEN’S SOFTBALL GAME ANNOUNCES 2022 ROSTERS
WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Congressional Women’s Softball Game (CWSG) organizing committee announced the rosters for its fourteenth annual game, which will be held Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at Watkins Recreation Center on Capitol Hill.
The game brings together members of Congress – both Democrats and Republicans – to play members of the D.C. press corps to raise money for the Young Survival Coalition, a non-profit that supports young adults diagnosed with breast cancer. CWSG is unique in that it is a D.C. sporting event played by women to benefit other women.
Traditionally held in June, the event was canceled in 2020 and moved to the fall last year due the pandemic. The 2021 game raised more than $509,000, an all-time record.
Sponsorships are available through September 1. To learn more about sponsorship opportunities, please email atalie@congwomensoftball.org.
To RSVP for press credentials, please email keegan@congwomensoftball.com. Tickets can be purchased for $10 here.
